This website and the efforts to defeat the library tax levy are a project of the Committee for Decent Libraries, a non-profit campaign committee registered with the Ohio Secretary of State.
We welcome and appreciate any donations toward our efforts to shine a spotlight on the books being purchased and stocked by our Jefferson County libraries, and to hold the board and staff accountable for failure to respect parental rights.

Contributions to the Committee for Decent Libraries are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Corporate contributions are prohibited. Partnerships, LLCs, and other unincorporated entities may contribute, but must include the name of one or more owners to whom to attribute the contribution and in what proportion. Ohio law requires that all contributors must provide their name and address regardless of the amount of the contribution. We also collect contributors’ employer and occupation information to report as required. State employees are prohibited from donating and should disregard any contribution request. All donations are final unless prohibited by relevant law. By contributing, you are affirming that you are a United States citizen, that the funds are in your name, and are not provided by any other person or entity.
